Science fun

Sorry we haven't published much this term yet but here are some of the things we have been up to in class. During Primary science week we conducted some fun experiments. The first ones were seeing how the fat in milk attaches to detergent. We used colour to show the effect.

Term Two Begins

Welcome to Term Two everyone. I hope you all had a great holiday and are ready for lots of learning and fun this term.

Competition hots up with Room 14

Each day this week we have been playing 'nukem' against Room 14. We are improving our skills and having a whole lot of fun at the same time.

The great recycled postcard project.

We have been writing postcards to other school in the Greater Wellington region this week. We are sending them messages about the different ways we care for our environment at Koraunui School.

Dental clinic opening

The new dental clinic has opened at last. We had a great time celebrating this and the children came up with some really creative costumes.
