Take Action for Water 2010

Take Action for Water will be our main focus for the year for topic. It involves learning about healthy aquatic habitats and testing our local streams to see how they measure up. Our first field trip was to Korokoro Stream in Belmont which we discovered was in excellent health. Next we went to Oparu Stream in Lower Hutt which has been extensively modified by people and is in poor health. Here is a slide show of some of our trip photos.
