Kitchen Chemistry, well outside kitchen chemistry anyway!

We are beginning a writing unit on explanations this term. I decided to give the children an outdoor experience for them to write about. We built a bonfire in the garden area and made raisin toast and then had toasted marshmallows for desert. You can see by the lip licking that this was enjoyed by both Room 12 and our Room 13 visitors. Mmmmmmmmm.......
