Rugby World Cup Fan zone trip

Last term we were lucky enough to be invited to perform at the fan zone in Wellington.  Even those senior students who were not performing went in as a support crew.  We took the train from Pomare and then had a walk around central Wellington exploring the wonderful sculptures before we met the performers at the fan zone.

First stop was the Ghandi statue at Wellington Rail Station.  Next we walked up Molesworth Street to Old Saint Pauls.  Everyone loved going into this special church.

We were on time for the Old Bank Arcade clock.  Most of us did not even know what it was.  Lucky that Mrs J was with us.

Then it was on through the rain to the fan zone.  More on that, tomorrow.
