Year six camp is here and we had a great day at Kapiti Island. Lots of birds, kaka, tui, weka, hihi, robins, whiteheads and even 3 takahe for one lucky group.
We had a calm trip over and an interesting talk from Brenda.
Lots of seagull eggs along the beach.
We had to protect our lunches from the weka and the kaka.
Up, up, up.
How cool! The kaka flew down and tried to open our packs. Anything for a free feed.
Then to the beach for a swim and explore.
So many geckoes and skinks.
Home again, well back to El Rancho. Ready for another great adventure.
